Lya Mojica

Lya started practicing Hatha yoga on her own in Mexico. When she moved to the U.S. in 2002 she began studying other styles of yoga under several different teachers. Lya received her teacher’s certification with Dharma Mittra. Her class combines everything she has learned from Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha/Raja and Anusara. It also incorporates techniques Lya has learned from other physical practices such as modern dance and aerial acrobatics only to support the process of body awareness which, combined with an incessant breath practice, can open the gate to a dialogue between the mind and the body in preparation for the spiritual practice of yoga.
