Kevin McGrathThe Director of Personal Training at Five Points Fitness, Kevin is a graduate of Montclair State University with a Masters degree in exercise physiology. He is ACE and AFAA certified as a personal trainer and specializes in senior populations with an emphasis on cardiac rehabilitation. Kevin is a knowledgeable veteran of the fitness industry, operating a thriving independent training business for over a decade.

Emily is an extremely experienced and knowledgeable trainer. She first became interested in personal training while earning a BFA in Dance and Choreography, a course of study that required mastery of kinesiology, physiology, anatomy and dynamic alignment. Emily is an AFAA certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, a Post Rehab and Conditioning Specialist with the American Academy of Health and Fitness Professionals, and certified in Esquerre Fitness Group Advanced Stretching Techniques. Emily is also an internationally ranked competitive thai boxer, holding two US Championship Belts and was a member of the US Team to the International Muay Thai Federation Amateur Championships in Bangkok, Thailand. She is also a certified Asst. Instructor by the Muay Thai International Association. And she loves dogs, too.
Rick WeisbrotA veteran trainer, Rick was originally certified by the American Council on Exercise in 1995. While specializing in athletic conditioning He has added breadth and depth to his expertise as a Licensed Massage Therapist with advanced training in medical massage. In addition, Rick is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Acupuncture. His training and experience as a healthcare professional give Rick a unique awareness in dealing with and avoiding injury. A lifelong martial artist, Rick has an extensive grappling background and has been a personal student of Kru Simon for over 10 years. He is able to tailor a training program to the elite athlete or older client interested in achieving a higher level of fitness.
Gavin Van VlackIn more than 18 years in the health and fitness industry Gavin has explored every facet of personal training and coaching. He is experienced with pre-and post-natal populations, as well as rehabilitation protocols. He is also the trainer of choice for many amateur and professional athletes to improve their sport performance. As an educator and consultant to top fitness companies in New York and Los Angeles he has developed programs based on achieving clients' goals in the gym, on the playing field, and in improved quality of life. Gavin is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, MES certified in pre- and post-natal and rehab, a USAW Olympic Lifting Coach, RKC Kettlebell Instructor - Level 1, and has extensive knowledge of plyometric and functional training.
Anita LamCertified Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Instructor in the tri-state area, Anita Lam, has assisted her clients in reaching their fitness goals since 2001.
Prior to 2001, Anita instructed snowboarding in Colorado & Las Lenas, Argentina over a span over six years and personally has 12 years overall riding experience.
Her early background in dance opened the doors for her interest in the human body in the physical realm, the spiritual sense and in health & healing.
Muay Thai and boxing also found their way into her life. She had a chance to train in Thailand & many cities in the US. Anita has taught adult group classes at various locations in New York and worked in the junior kickboxing program at a local Brooklyn gym. Her most current passion is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu where she studies at the Renzo Gracie Academy. She won her first bronze medal at the 2006 Pan American Games.
In her own personal experience, Anita discovered the body needs balance in addition to exercise. Balance includes maintaining the integrity & healing of the systems of the human body. She followed her dream to become a licensed massage therapist & is currently in private practice. Her most recent work experience was in Maui where she worked for a women’s surf & yoga retreat.
Rima SidhuRima is an energetic, educated and motivating trainer. She is an NSPA Certified Personal Trainer specializing in cardiovascular conditioning and strength training. She is PNF Stretch Certified and currently pursuing an accelerated degree in the Health Sciences at New York University. A lifelong athlete who played four years of Division 1 collegiate soccer, Rima is also an internationally ranked muay thai fighter, a member of the WKA US Amateur Team and an assistant muay thai instructor.
